How to use this page: every card carries the live Amazon price, read at page load. We hold no review-record reference price for these, because they are catalogued from their own listings rather than evaluated by us, so the honest yardstick is the price you can see today against the price you saw last week. Note it now and check again in November.

Black Friday is November 27, 2026 and Cyber Monday is November 30, 2026. Ninja discounts steeply and often, and the two Luxe Cafe models are close enough that the sale price frequently decides which one people take home.

Premier or Pro: what the extra money buys

Ninja states the Premier (ES601) as 3-in-1 — espresso, drip coffee and cold brew — with 2 espresso styles. The Pro (ES701) is 4-in-1, adding an independent hot water system for americanos and tea, and offers 5 espresso styles, an integrated lever tamper and an insulated steam wand.

Both share the same 25-setting conical burr grinder, weight-based dosing and Barista Assist guidance, so the espresso itself is not the difference. Our Premier versus Pro guide works through it in full.

Against a Breville at the same money

In November these land in the same price band as a Breville Barista Express, and they are not the same kind of machine. The Ninja is guided and makes drip and cold brew as well; the Breville is a semi-automatic on the 54 mm platform, which is the size most third-party baskets, puck screens and tampers are made for.

Our Ninja versus Barista Express comparison puts them side by side, and is explicit that we hold a full review of the Breville and specification records for the Ninjas.

What we have and have not evaluated

Worth saying plainly on a page that exists to help you spend money: we have not evaluated either Ninja machine. Everything here is Ninja's own published specification, read from a dated listing. Nothing on this page tells you how a Ninja shot tastes.

What we can tell you is what owners run into afterwards, which our Ninja troubleshooting guide covers, and scale is the usual culprit.

Frequently asked questions

When is Black Friday 2026?

Black Friday is November 27, 2026 and Cyber Monday is November 30. Ninja typically discounts from early November through the whole period.

Should I buy the Ninja Luxe Cafe Premier or the Pro?

The Pro adds an independent hot water system, 5 espresso styles against 2, an integrated lever tamper and an insulated steam wand. If none of those matter to you, the Premier makes the same espresso from the same grinder.

Is the Ninja Luxe Cafe better than a Breville Barista Express?

They are built for different jobs. The Ninja is guided and also makes drip coffee and cold brew; the Barista Express is a semi-automatic on the 54 mm platform with a manual steam wand. We have evaluated the Breville and hold specification records for the Ninjas, so we do not claim which pulls a better shot.

Has CoffeeLabAdvisor reviewed the Ninja Luxe Cafe?

No. These are specification records read from Ninja's own listings, not evaluations. Neither machine carries a score or an award standing from us.

Does the Ninja Luxe Cafe take a 54 mm portafilter?

No. It uses Ninja's own portafilter and basket design, so the standard 54 mm accessory range does not fit it.
