Producer-Level Transparency, Importers Named
Velo names its importers — "We purchase much of our coffee through Cafe Imports and Unblended Coffee" — and publishes, for each lot on its shelf, the producer, farm, region, elevation, variety, harvest window and process: a washed Colombia from Bayron Arcila at El Vergel in Sonsón, 1,880 metres, with a 204-hour fermentation, is one example captured for this evaluation.
