De'Longhi Magnifica Evo vs Ninja AutoBarista Pro (AE1051)
An established bean-to-cup against Ninja's first. This page sets the two review records side by side, using what testers of the Ninja found when they compared it with De'Longhi. Both machines were evaluated on the same published rubric, from documented evidence, and this page is those two records side by side. We have not physically tested either.

Both grind, dose and brew at a press. They differ on milk, beans and speed: the De'Longhi Magnifica Evo draws milk from a container and pours it for you, while the Ninja AutoBarista Pro (AE1051) froths in a jug you pour yourself; the Ninja AutoBarista Pro (AE1051) has two swappable hoppers and a grinder that calibrates itself, and testers found it slower per drink than De'Longhi's machines.

The short answer
Buy the Ninja AutoBarista Pro (AE1051) if you switch between two beans, want drip coffee from the same machine, and prefer frothing in a jug you can clean in the dishwasher. Our record marks it as best for households that want push-button coffee with two beans on the go and easy maintenance.
Buy the De'Longhi Magnifica Evo if you want milk drinks poured at one press, a quicker drink, and the longer warranty. Our record marks it as best for value buyers who want one-touch bean-to-cup drinks.
How we can say this: both machines went through the same published evaluation against the same rubric, and each one's full record is on its review page. That is a repeatable, documented comparison; it is not a tasting, and we say so wherever it matters.

We publish a score only for award winners, on the award page that justifies it, so this comparison is decided
on what the two machines do rather than on a number. In the words of the two review records: the
De'Longhi Magnifica Evo is The best-value bean-to-cup machine: integrated grinder, automatic LatteCrema milk and one-touch drinks at roughly $750. Convenient and consistent, with plastic internals and less control than premium rivals.
The Ninja AutoBarista Pro (AE1051) is Two swappable hoppers with nothing left in the grinder, a strong steam wand and easy maintenance. Testers split on the espresso, shot volumes ran long, calibration uses a lot of beans and water, and you still pour the milk yourself.
Neither of these is our 2026 award winner. The Best Overall Espresso Machine award went to the Breville Bambino Plus — a different answer to a different question — and its full scorecard is public on the
award page. This page is a comparison of two review records, not an award.

* Pressure figures are manufacturer-published pump ratings. A pump rating is the pump's maximum, not the pressure at the coffee during a shot, and we have not measured brew pressure on either machine, so the two numbers are shown because the manufacturers publish them, not as comparable measures of extraction. † Marked figures are not confirmed on a manufacturer source for the exact model number listed above; we have left our tracked value in place rather than substitute an unverified one. Plant-milk ratings are our own documented 1–5 scoring, published on each review page.
Portafilter sizes for every machine we cover, with sources, are on our portafilter size chart; footprints are on the dimensions chart.
The price arithmetic
We publish a price only when we can read it live, and right now at least one of
these machines has no live listing to read. Rather than print a tracked figure that
may have moved, the arithmetic is left out: the current prices are on the cards above,
and the gap between them is whatever the two retailers say today. What does not move
with the price is what the premium buys, which the sections below take row by row from
the two records.
Milk: container or jug
The De'Longhi Magnifica Evo uses De'Longhi's LatteCrema system: the machine draws milk from a container, froths it and pours it into the cup, then rinses the spout. The Ninja AutoBarista Pro (AE1051) froths with a steam wand and a magnetic whisk in a jug, stopping by itself on five presets, and testers praised the texture; but you pour the milk into the drink yourself, despite Ninja's hands-free wording. The jug and whisk go in the dishwasher. Espresso Rabbit Hole, which bought a Ninja AutoBarista Pro (AE1051), found De'Longhi's and Jura's automatic milk systems more reliable than Ninja's whisk.
Espresso and beans
The De'Longhi Magnifica Evo's 13-step grinder and automatic dose make consistent, repeatable drinks that you can adjust only a little. The Ninja AutoBarista Pro (AE1051)'s Grind iQ calibrates the grinder itself by pulling test shots, which can take five to twelve minutes and 120 grams or more of beans, and testers split on its espresso: four of eight full reviews rated it good and two poor, with shot volumes often running long. Its strengths are a large brew chamber for doses up to about 27 to 30 grams and two hoppers that meter beans so none are left in the grinder, so you can switch to decaf at any time.
Speed, water and size
Tom's Guide found each Ninja AutoBarista Pro (AE1051) drink took at least a minute, noticeably longer than the De'Longhi Magnifica Evo. The Ninja AutoBarista Pro (AE1051) rinses at every power on and off and testers found it water-hungry, refilling after about four drinks for one. It is also a drip coffee maker, which the De'Longhi Magnifica Evo is not. The Ninja AutoBarista Pro (AE1051) is narrower but much deeper and heavier, so measure counter depth; both brew units are removable for rinsing. The De'Longhi Magnifica Evo carries a two-year warranty against the Ninja AutoBarista Pro (AE1051)'s one year. Compare the live prices on the cards; Amazon showed no price for the Ninja AutoBarista Pro (AE1051) on the day we built this page.
