For the three machines with a dedicated pairing study (Barista Pro, Gaggia Classic Pro, Rancilio Silvia) we recommend only catalog-verified pairings — both components must be in our live catalogs. Everything else is documented, never silently used.
Capability matching
For every other machine we rank espresso-capable grinders by their compatibility score — and we tell you it's a capability match, not a dedicated study. Brew-only grinders (like the Ode Gen 2) never appear in the espresso flow.
Editorial standards
