Best suited for

First-time buyers spending as little as possible who mainly make milk drinks from our review
learning to texture milk yourself — the wand is manual from the specification
a small kitchen — the machine is about 20 cm wide or less from the specification
a first espresso machine on a modest budget from the specification

Consider another option if

you expected a grinder included — budget for a separate one from the specification
you steam and brew at the same time — a single heater does one, then the other from the specification

Why: A very narrow, low-cost first espresso machine with a steam wand both testers rated. Pressurised-only baskets cap the flavour until you buy a 51mm portafilter, the wand needs purging before the next shot, and TechRadar found its shots inconsistent and messy where Tom's Guide did not.
